BLOOM – The flower embroidery project
For this post, I wrote a very long introduction. Philosophizing about the ins and outs of New Year’s resolutions, big announcements and previous projects I made. But to be honest, it all sums up in one sentence: Don’t make a big announcement unless you are half way through or finished with the project or it will end up like a New Year’s resolution – much ado about nothing.
So here is the big announcement
Every week for the next months, I will publish 2 new flower embroidery tutorials. Each tutorial will be available as a photo tutorial (like the ones in the stitch lexicon) and * drumroll* a video tutorial!
I aim to reach the 100 tutorials and I have gathered 71 so far. BUT! I will not call this tutorial series the 100 flower embroidery tutorials. Just because I know that crazy unexpected things happen as soon as I make it a resolution to reach a certain number. Like, my cats distribute all of my embroidery floss evenly across the entire house. Or my dog plays with the sampler cloth. Ok, now I’m scared that this might actually happen.
Where are the new flower embroidery tutorials?
All flower embroidery tutorials are published one by one here on the blog.
All video tutorials are available on my Youtube channel, too.
Follow me on Instagram or join the embroidery newsletter to get notifications whenever there is a new flower tutorial.
